Salads are good for weight loss fast. Today we are going to share a recipe of spicy sweet potato for weight loss. Ingredients and method of preparation are given below.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large Sweet Potatoes
  • ½ cup Sliced Scallion
  • ½ cup extra-virgin Olive Oil
  • ½ cup minced fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1 tablespoon grated Orange zest
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 to 2 fresh minced Chilies
  • Salt and Black Pepper according to taste
  • 2 teaspoon ground Cumin
  • ¼ cup Raisins
  • ¼ cup red-wine Vinegar

Method of Preparation:

1.  Take red bell pepper, put out the seeds and cut quartered

2.  Minced fresh mint leaves

3.  Sliced Scallion and Minced Chilies

4.  Preheat the oven to 400F

5.  Take sweet potatoes and cut them into bite size pieces

6.  Put these pieces on the baking sheet

7.  Take 2 teaspoons of olive oil and put it on potatoes and toss it well until it is coated

8.  Sprinkle black pepper and salt on potatoes

9.  Keep it in oven for thirty minutes and in the oven turn the potatoes until it is roasted, brown and crispy

10.  During the baking take a blender. Put remaining olive oil that was used for tossing the potatoes.

11.  Also, put vinegar, cumin, bell pepper, zest, salt and black pepper in the blender

12.  Make puree until smooth

13.  Toss the warm potatoes with mint, chilies, scallion, and raisins. Add ½ cup dressing in potatoes and toss it well.

14. Serve it at room temperature
