No Bake Nutella Oreao Cheesecake Recipe

Started from ancient Greece, cheesecakes were popular among Romans in older times. They are sweet, soft and dense cakes with multiple layers. The main and bottom most layer is mostly slightly crispy while the upper layers are soft, creamy, fresh and made up from soft cream cheese or ricotta sauce, sugar, eggs and with some additional flavours. Cheesecakes are flavoured with espresso powder, or topped with fruits, cocktail, nuts, whipped cream, cookies or with chocolate or maple syrup. A crust of the cheesecake is usually made from crushed graham crackers or Oreo cookies. Though it can be baked or can be unbaked.

Cheesecakes are super tasty and super easy to prepare. This one is starting from Oreo crust (The best kind of crust for any flavoured cheesecake). You can either place whole Oreos at the bottom of the pan or put whole Oreos in food chopper or processor and run the processor with melted butter in it, mix until you get the crumb like mixture. Press this crumby mixture in the pan and freeze. Because baking isn’t necessary. Try to use spring form pan so it can be easily out from it. The base of the cake is filled with cream cheese with whatever flavour you want but here I will be using Nutella combined with fluffy cream. Prepare cream cheese frosting at room temperature so it would be better to combine them all and place on the cake. When you are done with the mixing and spreading of the frosting, then freeze the cake before serving for best texture and smoothness.

I’m so used to of making this cake for friend’s party, family get-togethers and kids at my home loves this creation because it has Oreo and Nutella in it, in fact, No, they loved it because this is a cake. (Kids are mad about the cake things). I remember the last time I made this cake and place in refrigerator to let it cool, my sister’s kids ate it before even I checked. ‘Sigh’. But this is how you can measure the taste quality of this yummy delight. I’m going to top this with Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls, but you can use any other crushed chocolate.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups (264g) Oreo crumbs (leave filling in Oreos)
  • 4 tbsp (56g) butter, melted

Filling

  • 24 oz (678g) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (104g) sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups (470g) Nutella
  • 3 tbsp (21g) cocoa powder
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream)

Nutella Ganache

  • 1/2 cup (157g) Nutella
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
  • 6 Ferrero Rocher, chopped

Now have a look at the detailed description of the direction to make Oreo Nutella cheesecake without baking.

Instructions:

Open the Oreo packs and place whole cookies, including its inside cream, in a Food processor and run until you get the crumb like mixture then add melted butter and run the processor again for 20 seconds.

If you are not using food processor then place the cookies in a plastic zip bag and beat over the cookies with something heavy enough to crush the cookies. Pour them into a bowl and mix with melted butter to form a little wet crumby mixture.

Place this crumb mixture in spring form pan at the bottom and half way up to the sides of the pan. Press the crumbs at the bottom of the pan to have an even surface. And place in refrigerator while you prepare cream cheese frosting.

Take a large bowl and add cream cheese, vanilla essence and sugar in it and beat with an electric beater to have a fluffy sauce like texture. Now take another bowl and add Nutella and cocoa powder in it and beat with electric beater until mixed well and there is no powdered like mixture in it. Now pour this Nutella and cocoa powder mixture in cream cheese mixture and beat again to get combined.

In another bowl whip the heavy cream to make it fluffy and mix with cream cheese and Nutella mixture.

Pour this mixture over the already prepared Oreo crust and smooth with the spatula.

Place in refrigerator for 6-8 hours or until steady.

Now remove this cake from the pan and pace in cake dish or plate. And prepare toppings.

Take a medium bowl and add Nutella and in another bowl add cream and run the cream in microwave oven till boiling. Add this boiling cream over Nutella and mix together until smooth and creamy. Let this mixture cool before you pour it over the cake. Now cover the cake with Nutella-cream sauce and sprinkle crushed Ferrero rocher, or any other chocolate of your choice.

Serve cold for best and delicious taste.

This is one of the easiest cake you could ever make, the only time consuming part is when you have it cool it down in the fridge. Try this recipe and get yourself famous as the best chef in the family and friends.
