17. Emergence of white areas on your nails

White spotting on nails can emerge due to a possible injury on your nail, or elsewhere in your body. If a part of your nail gets chipped off, or your entire nail gets separated from the nail bed, it begins to turn white. And this could happen due to an injury, psoriasis, or a nail infection. However, if the nail hasn’t chipped off or separated, and it is still white, this can be a symptom of severe diseases, such as kidney failure, liver infections and congestive heart failure.

It is best to consult your doctor and perform the relevant tests that he prescribes.

18. Feeling cold feet?

If your feet always tend to stay cold, there are several reasons that are causing it. For instance, a circulatory ailment may be causing a blood flow disturbance in your body and keeping your feet cold. Such circulatory problems are closely linked to diseases such as high blood pressure, serious heart conditions and excessive smoking.

If your diabetic condition is unsupervised, it can cause serious nerve damage that often leads to cold feet. Some other causes include anemia and hypothyroidism, however, only your doctor can rule out the real culprit and give you a proper diagnosis for cold feet.

Now that you are aware of all the possible foot ailments and their causes, it will prove much easier to cure them and get a proper diagnosis. Remember, in most cases, these foot ailments are just signs and indications that signal the presence of severe and harmful ailments in your body. Therefore, it is essential to consult a doctor without any unnecessary delays.
