Brownies are always a treat to everyone. Taking an exact quantity of all the ingredients and baking with proper care, the outcome could make people wonder how good cook you are. Brownies can be served either with ice cream, berries, whipped cream or anything you like even just as it is.

They require all-purpose flour so definitely they contain gluten but what if I say I have a recipe of deliciously yummy and rich chocolate brownies with no gluten in it? Sounds amazing right? A delicious dessert treat with no gluten and absolutely healthy for the body is definitely a dream come true for people who always crave for their sweet tooth and couldn’t manage to eat those because of the gluten problems or weight issues.

Coconut Flour Chocolate Brownies

To make these brownies this much healthy and gluten free we will be using coconut flour and coconut oil instead of all-purpose flour and vegetable oil. This yummy delight is so healthy, so yummy and so easy. Have a look:

Ingredients:

  • Coconut flour: ½ cup
  • Cocoa powder: ½ cup
  • Coconut oil: 1/3 cup
  • Eggs: 6 large
  • Brown Sugar: 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tsp.
  • Chocolate chips: 2-3 tbsp. or more if you want to make it chocolatier
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Grease the brownie pan with butter and set aside and preheat the oven for 10-15 minutes.

2. Take a small pan and add coconut oil in it and heat over low flame. As it melts add cocoa powder and cook on low flame until all the coconut oil is melt and mixed evenly with cocoa powder, set aside.

3. Now take a large bowl add all 6 eggs and beat with electric beater until fluffy, now add sugar, salt and vanilla extract and keep beating. Until it is all fluffy mixture and there are no lumps in the batter. Now add cocoa powder mixture and mix well. Add coconut flour and chocolate chips and mix well with the spatula so there won’t be any lumps and the batter will be even and smooth.

4. Place the batter in pre-greased pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. Check the cake after 30 minutes with a toothpick. Remove from the oven and cut it in brownies form and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
