The liver can be thought of as a factory that processes chemicals. This is primarily because the blood carries the nutrients extracted from your meals from the small intestine to the liver, and then, the liver makes the decision of how these nutrients will be used.

The liver eliminates all the toxins and harmful substances from the body, it aids in recycling old blood cells, produces bile and other essential digestive juices, and it produces, stores and releases glucose to energize the body.

8. Pancreas

The pancreas are tucked away behind the stomach, and the produce chemicals, known as enzymes, which aid in digesting the nutrients present within the foot. The pancreas are also responsible for generating insulin, which is the hormone that aids in regulating blood sugar levels.

9. Appendix

Earlier, experts used to believe that this tiny and thin organ was a useless and purposeless body organ, a leftover body part of the early human civilization. But modern research reveals that the appendix is useful in storing up good bacteria that aids the digestive system in fulfilling its responsibilities and restoring its strength after bouts of illness.
