8. Chew Properly

Most of us have this horrible habit of gulping down our meals, or eating without really looking at what’s going inside our mouths. Doctors believe that it is essential to chew every bit at least 10 times before you swallow it up.

If you swallow your food without chewing it properly, your body would have to break in down in your stomach and intestines, and this leads to issues like severe gas and indigestion.

Besides, eating too fast causes the development of a potbelly as it allows lots of air to get swallowed in your mouth.
