4. Gastrointestinal Issues
It is common to associate symptoms like abdominal pain, diarrhea etc. to Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Women should be on the lookout if these symptoms coincide with or are aggravated during the time of their monthly cycle because if they do these symptoms could have been caused by the uterus tissue in the intestine or stomach.
There is no way to know for sure that whether the symptoms are being caused by endometriosis except getting a leprosy examination. In the test, a part of the intestinal tissue is removed and examined to find if there are any traces of endometrial lining present.
Many women may be diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome where infact they may be suffering from endometriosis due to the similarity of symptoms.
5. Frequent Urination
Women who are affected by urinary tract infection (UTI) have to face frequent urination but this frequent urge to pee can also be caused by endometriosis. If this issue gets aggravated during menstruation time it may as well be endometriosis.
Interstitial cystitis is also a condition with similar symptoms but the exact cause of the disease is unknown. Endometriosis is also thought to be a cause of this issue.
