It’s only natural for women to bloat up, however, if the bloating doesn’t disappear after two weeks of dieting and exercise, it must be treated as a symptom of a serious illness. If bloating also accompanies bleeding, and rapid weight loss, be sure to consult your doctor right away.
Research reveals that persistent bloating is one of the most common symptoms of ovarian cancer. Your doctor will have to perform several tests, including an ultrasound, a thorough pelvic exam and some blood tests to rule out the root of the ailment causing the bloating.
3. Spotting between the Menstrual Cycle
If you’re getting your periods at their regular time, and if you’re also experiencing spotting in between your menstrual cycle, you must consult a doctor immediately. Bleeding that occurs despite the menstrual cycle is a grave concern as it could be a symptom of several severe ailments, primarily endometrial cancer, which is a type of cancer that effects the lining of the uterus.
Even if it’s not cancer, bleeding after menopause or without the menstrual cycle is never normal, and you must get it examined by your doctor at once.
4. Changes in your Skin
If you have mole or other spots on your skin, and you’re noticing changes in their size, colour or shape, keep in mind that this is one of the most prevalent symptoms of skin cancer.
Be sure to consult your doctor, have your mole thoroughly examined, or better, it’s always safest to perform a biopsy. Such symptoms are extremely sensitive, and you mustn’t waste any time in getting yourself examined.
